My family and I have given this place many chances... Every time it's one of two things, the service is terrible or the food is just plain bad. Sometimes both combined. I have had a couple good meals here but nothing to brag about.

Dumb me, I tried it a second time, hoping it would be better. Not so much.... My husband ordered the Turkey with mashed potatoes. When she brought it out, no mashed, just fries. They were out of Mashed potatoes, but what if he didn't like fries? You can't just make that decision yourself....you should probably ask the customer! My son ordered pizza, 15 minutes later she comes to the table, says they have no cheese. So he orders breadsticks. YUK! They were hard, and the 'sauce' tasted like cold tomatoes out of a can. I can't remember what I ordered. I remember they were out of the first thing and the plate I finally got was inedible. I told her and I took it for the dog....she did not take it off our bill however.

Unfortunately this place is not very good. There are not many choices in Hemlock but the food is OK at best and service is soooo slow. Been there more than a few times and I usually regret it. Only time I have really been happy is for breakfast. If you don't wanna cook for yourself this is adequate. I really want to like it but I just can't.

2:00 pm sunday afternoon jukebox so loud we could not have a conversation across the table. 20 + minute wait for a pulled pork sandwich. No one apologized for noise or wait. On top of the loud jukebox they were taking down tables from an earlier wedding reception and slamming the legs closed making terrible noise. The staff bumped into my dad's chair several times and he was pulled all the way into the table. Once everyone at table was about finished with meal our waitress came back and noticed my almost untouched plate. I let her know the "pulled pork" was not edible and it also was not pulled it was large chunks of tough meat with bottled BBQ sauce drizzled over it. Was supposed to get beans with the sandwich and pub chips. No beans were served and I never thought to ask for them since I could not eat what was there to begin with. Upon hearing me say it was inedible she asked me what we wanted her to do, I replied that i did not want anything else off their menu, my parents were done eating, but I did not want to pay for the sandwich, she did not hesitate to take it off my bill, that was he only positive to our experience. Sorry to say we will not be back to his establishment, I like to support local business it just won't be this one.
